Hyser's Body Shop began more than 50 years ago with the vision of a young but seasoned auto repair technician by the name of Gerald J. Hyser.

In the summer of 1964 Jerry started Hyser's Body Shop opening the doors with a vision of providing quality auto repairs with extraordinary customer service.

In 1974 the business moved into the newly built shop at 830 Columbia Avenue in Belvidere, Illinois where the company is today.  In the early years Gerald took care of the repairs and his wife, Loretta handled the paperwork.

Gerald and Loretta’s children followed in their parents’ footsteps, and on April 1, 1991 their son Scott B. Hyser took ownership of the repair shop.

Hyser’s Body Shop specializes in quality collision repair for automobiles and small trucks.  They are not concerned about quantity of automobiles they fix; instead it’s the care they give to each customer and to make sure the repair is done to the highest standards.

Today Hyser's Body Shop is still a family run business, Scott and his brother Mark work on collision repairs at the shop while there sister Chris Darmon manages the office. The shop runs with all the pride and quality set forth by there father over 50 years ago.
